The SS Viela, a cutting edge US research space station

The SS Viela was built as a last ditch effort to send the brightest scientists of the world to a space faring research station. They would be tasked with developing genetically modified food that can survive droughts, as well as any other humanitarian efforts. Much of the world governments reserves went into building this station, and it literally and figuratively serves as a symbol of hope, as the design resembles that of a tree.

“The government must have some idea of what they’re asking of us. Even with the smartest people in the world, we’re not gonna magically find some infinitely sustainable food source. We’re doing what we can, and have made some significant strides when it comes to resilience of corn. But the government is expecting a miracle.” -Gary Holmes, Nobel Prize Recipient 2059

Girl Sculpt

Learned a lot doing this sculpt. Already know how I’d do it next time.

The Unnamed Hero

Although his name is lost to the history books, and he himself slipped into chaos, this brave knight slew the Pestilent Dragon of Decay, preventing the next mass extinction. The King had tasked his King’s Spear (12 valiant and unmatched knights) to defeat the Dragon, yet all inevitably perished. They received a city sized grave for their sacrifice, while the true hero was corrupted by the dark poison the dragon released upon its death. To this day, it is unknown where this knight is, or what their motive is.

A:”Don’t ya ever just, ya know, look at that statue of the Spears, and think ‘how did these pretty boys slay a dragon?’ –B:”What do you mean? Mantz was the greatest fighter in the country. He had 11 of the greatest warriors behind him. Of course they could do it.” –A:”When did we ever actually see Mantz in action? Feels like he only ever showed up for celebrations. Where was he during the Battle of Port Mandez? The whole frontline was wiped out, yet Mandez claims he was there when the fighting began.” –B:”I think you’re reading too much into it. Maybe if he survived fighting that dragon, but that’s just not what happened.” –A:”What can I say, I’m just a skeptic by nature. –B:”I will admit, I’m sure there was a lot of garnishing the story by the King. Was probably much less heroic.” -Two citizens at the central statue of the Spear’s grave

Freighter of Fear

The Monster’s Glory

The elusive Professor Marco was a man of many urban legends, which only grew more ostentatious as the years went by. Some would claim he was working on the first water powered vehicle, other that he discovered the key to immortality itself. His esoteric interviews would shed little light on his work, but prove something nonetheless. On his 82nd birthday, he was given one year to live due to a bone cancer diagnosis. After this news, Marco fled to an undisclosed village in Croatia. The isolation and impending doom drove him insane, leading to unholy unions of man and machine.

[Translated from a local Croatian news station interview with an eye witness]

“I can’t really describe it in great detail, since I was already flooring it and it was really dark out. I’ll tell ya though, I’m a man of God, myself, and what I did see told me enough; this was not a creature of God’s creation. It was the shape of a truck, ya know, a semi, just really huge. But it had, like, strange, fleshy bulges coming out of it. It’s horn was so loud, and, look, I know you’re not gonna believe me, but I swear I heard screams mixed in with it…….. Yeah, the windshield didn’t seem to be          see-through, so no, I couldn’t tell if anyone was driving it….. No, I don’t believe I will ever be using that road again. Only saves me 8 minutes of a drive. Hell, the longer route has a nice view of the ocean.” -Eyewitness encounter of the FoF

Ns-17 Liquid Fusion Rifle

A standard issue rifle issued to all E-class personnel at Arsenal Defense Industries. By using a liquid-fusion technology, this rifle is able to produce a flurry of hardened plasma rounds with superior penetrating ability. This is achieved by combining two undisclosed chemical agents which harden when mixed, as well as create a large explosion that propels it out of the barrel.

“Dr. Ailes dedicated over three decades of his life towards the development of liquid-fusion technology. He had a vision to create sustainable and accessible building materials, one’s that could put a house over the head over every homeless person in the city. Of course, this meant the engineers at ADI were already hard at work weaponizing it. So far, not a drop of this tech has gone into building and infrastructure. There are over 150,000 Ns-17 Liquid-fusion rifles being produced daily. -Kay Gonzales, California congressman 53rd dist.”

XEM-2r1 Police Mech Suit

Original concept by Alex Kim

This suit was designed by Arsenal Defense Industries, based in Detroit, Michigan. The idea was to create an efficient and powerful mech suit that can handle many different situations. These could include riots, escorts, security, and of course regular patrols.

“I’ve said it once and I’ll say it a thousand more times until people start listening. ADI’s new line of XEMs shows that they care about one thing only, that being the blood-covered tax money our government is giving them to create these murder machines. They think this will keep us in line, but you can’t kill an idea, a movement. – Samizdat Officer, Detroit branch”
