The #onepiece trading card game starter decks are coming out in just a few weeks now, and I’ve been experimenting with making leader proxy art. Making designs like this is fun, trying to figure out different ways to make the card feel unique but still function as intended. One of my favorite landscapes from the challenge I One of my favorite landscapes from the challenge I took last month to do a landscape every day. This one is based on the lore carcosa cosa, a fictional city by the writer Ambrose Bierce, from his short story "An Inhabitant of Carcosa". I was surprised when I finally learned of Carcosa, because I started noticing its themes in a LOT of other places. It's always interesting to learn of a piece of work that while largely went under the radar, still influenced an incredibly broad number of creators.
